I was born and raised in Virginia Beach Virginia and spent my formative years at Norfolk Academy, Independence Middle School and Princess Anne High. It was at Princess Anne that I first picked up an instrument.

I started out on guitar but was told that I really stunk so I switched to a stringed instrument to make things less complicated. Thus my bass playing days began. I quickly learned to mimic the styles of Flea of the Red Hot chili Peppers, Les Claypool of Primus and Sting of the Police. Soon thereafter I joined my first band and we played the school talent show.....it was a rush like no other. I became hooked. I went through various bands in high school, none with any true ambition. I then ended up at ODU and met the people whom I would spend the next 6 years or so in bands with. I helped form the band Eclectic 7 and we went on to play over 200 gigs and even had a song that almost ended up in a Hollywood movie soundtrack. Eventually our singer decided to move to the West Coast and I then banded up with Eclectic's notorious drummer Dave Samson and and old high school buddy Scott Cumpston to form the band RIO. RIO became a cult success in the are owing to opening slots with bands like Jackmove and we even played the Norva which was cool and down at KittyHawk. Eventually our singer was given the chance to join Jackmove and that left me without a Band. Then I went looking for a band I could gel with and stumbled upon a CraigsList add looking for a bass player. The rest is current history. Im a huge fan of music and play guitat keyboard and can keep a beat on the drum kit. I have written dozens of songs on my own and have a couple solo demos floating around. My current influences include Jah Wobble, Mike Watt, Flea, The Eels, John Frusciante, Mark Knopfler, Wilco, The Clash, The Police, Ect. I hope to bring something positive to my time with Ebbin Flow.
